S&S 6.7 Powerstroke DCR Conversion

Replace the failure-prone Bosch CP4.2 high-pressure fuel pump on your 6.7L Power Stroke with the S&S Diesel Motorsport DCR conversion. A CP4 failure can send metal through the injectors, rails, and lines and turn into a $10,000–$15,000 fuel-system repair. This kit removes the CP4 and installs a two-piston Stanadyne DCR pump co-developed by S&S and PurePower Technologies.

The Ford-specific DCR is built to follow the CP4 output curve, so the stock ECU does not need a tune, flash, or calibration change. It is a direct-fit conversion with OE-style hard lines, supply and return hose, adapter hardware, and install instructions.

Install notes

• Plan on about 6–12 hours. A shop install is commonly quoted around 8 hours.
• 2011–2016 trucks disturb a one-time-use vacuum pump gasket. Order S&S 6.7F-VAC-GASKET (MAHLE B32630 equivalent) before you start. Other pump gaskets can usually be reused if they are not damaged; a full mounting gasket kit is optional.
• Do not leave a CP4 Disaster Prevention Kit (DPK) installed. The DPK is for the CP4 only and will not work with the DCR.
• This kit replaces a working or failed pump. It does not include injectors, rails, or a contamination cleanup kit. If the CP4 has already failed and contaminated the system, those parts still have to be replaced.
• Pump timing matters for harmonics. Follow the S&S instructions.
